Introduction

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam) was born on 15 October 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu.

He was an Indian aerospace scientist and the 11th former president of india(2002-2007).

He is popularly known as the Missile Man of India Because of his missile and space technology.

Early life & Education

• Worked as a Key Scientist in ISRO and DRDO.
• Lead role in India's First Satellite Lauch vehicle (SLV - III).
• Major Contributor to Agni and Prithvi missiles.
• Received Bharat Ratna in 1997.
• Played a Significant Role in 1998 Pokhran Nuclear Tests.
